Please Note:  The price quoted in the Total Cost column is the total to be paid for DBS application.  The Total Cost includes the DBS fee payable to the Disclosure and Barring Service, our Administration and Counter Signatory fee. The fee is non-refundable. 

There are a number of ways to pay for your DBS Check: 

Payment by Cheque:

All cheques must be made payable to ‘Mental Health Matters Wales’ for the required amount and attached to the completed application(s) you are returning

Payment by BACS:

Customers who prefer to pay by online bank transfer can contact us directly for more information. We must request to be supplied with Remittance Advice or another form of documentation to confirm payment has been made. Once this has been received, your DBS application(s) will then be processed and submitted. Please contact us us for us to confirm our bank details.

Payment by Invoice: 

We are mindful some internal accounting systems do not allow payment for services in advance and require an invoice. If this is the case, please let us know, and we can raise an invoice immediately after we have processed your application(s). If you choose to pay by BACS we will require Remittance Advice or another form of documentation to confirm payment has been made. This is so we can identify your payment within our banking system.

For all pre-paid applications, whether payment is made by cheque or BACS, a ‘PAID’ invoice will be issued.

DBS application cancellation disclaimer

If an application has already been submitted to the DBS and we receive a request to cancel a application, the cost will still unfortuantely apply as DBS Cymru will still be charged the full amount by the DBS.
