Please Note:  The price quoted in the Total Cost column is the total to be paid for DBS application.  The Total Cost includes the DBS fee payable to the Disclosure and Barring Service, our Administration and Counter Signatory fee. The fee is non-refundable. 

There are a number of ways to pay for your DBS Check: 

Payment by Cheque: Many customers enclose a cheque in payment with the applications. These applications are processed straight away and, providing there are no errors or omissions on the forms, get forwarded to the DBS on the same day. If paying by cheque, please make the cheque payable to MHM Wales. 

Payment by BACS: Customers who prefer to pay by bank transfer know we require a Remittance Advice as confirmation  payment is being made. A Remittance Advice enclosed with the application form is treated in the same way as a cheque. Some customers prefer to send the Remittance Advice electronically. The DBS applications will be processed and forwarded as soon as the Remittance Advice is received. Please contact us us for us to confirm our bank details.

Payment by Invoice: We are mindful some internal accounting systems do not allow for the payment for services in advance; requiring first an invoice for the services provided. If this is the case, we will invoice immediately after we have processed your applications and we will request prompt payment by cheque or BACS payment. if you choose to pay by BACS we will require a Remittance Advice so we can indentify your payment within our account. This can be emailed directly to our finance department. 

For all pre-paid applications, whether payment is made by cheque or BACS, a ‘PAID’ invoice will be issued.

DBS application cancellation disclaimer

If an application has already been submitted to the DBS and we receive a request to cancel a application, the cost will still unfortuantely apply as DBS Cymru will still be charged the full amount by the DBS.
